This site is dedicated to the memory of Vic Sharrer

Victor R. Sharrer (Vic) of 222 Mountain View Ave., Caldwell, ID, formerly of Cleveland, GA and Huntsville, UT, passed away December 30, 2013 at home after an extended illness. He was surrounded by his family and passed peacefully. He was born in Baltimore, MD the son of Victor R. and Mary Harshman Sharrer of Rocky Ridge, MD. He served a tour of duty in the U.S. Marines and worked for several Engineering Consulting Firms in Maryland, Michigan, Montana, and Utah until his health failed. He is survived by his Wife Sandy of Caldwell, ID, Son Terrence and daughter-in-law Diann. of Boise, ID, two Step Daughters, Kathy Harris of Laurel, MD, Stacey Foxwell, son-in-law, Brice of Westminister, MD, one Step Son, Jeffery Klipp, daughter-in-law Christy of Grainesville, GA. and son-in-law Scott Johnston Husband of his beloved Step Daughter Leigh Ann, who preceded him in death. Nine grandsons, one whom he was especially proud of D.J. having raised him from the age of two and they were very close. He is also survived by his Brother in law Orville Jordan and his nephews Wayne and Terry Jordan of Lithicum, Maryland. Six step grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. He loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren although his health prevented him from seeing them as much as he would have liked. Vic, loved the mountains and he had a deep passion for the mountain man way of life, he also loved fly fishing,camping, woodworking and critters. He was a master carpenter and could make anything. His greatest joy came in making special pieces for his family. He loved all critters, and always spoiled his dogs, whom he called his children.
